• Meet with your elected state representatives encouraging their support of the priority bills in this legislative session – See Legislative Priorities. If they have agreed to support one of the bills, thank them.   Ask others in your community or professional network to do the same.

  • Read media coverage of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change from October 2018 report, such as this article from the October 7, 2018 edition of the New York Times.   For a deeper technical understanding, review the IPCC Executive Summary
  • Review the Boston Globe coverage of the US 4th National Climate Assessment or the more detailed Executive Summary published in November 2018.
  • Sign up for a free energy audit for your home, house of worship and/or business here in Massachusetts (through the MassSave program).
  • If you belong to a church or other religious community with a building, consider joining Mass Interfaith Power & Light, and arrange for an Energy Stewardship Assessment as a way to save money and reduce emissions. This is a great first step for any community considering “going solar.”
  • If you are a scientist or person interested in science based policy, consider joining the Union of Concerned Scientists or the Conservation Law Foundation.
